Ram 1500 EcoDiesel full delete kit with Iron Loader tuner (2014-2017)
The 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 Ram 3.0 EcoDiesel Delete Kit with Iron Loader Tuner is designed to enhance your truck's performance by removing restrictive emissions systems. This kit optimizes power and efficiency for off-road applications, providing a comprehensive solution for your EcoDiesel engine.
What's included in delete kit
This Ram 1500 EcoDiesel delete kit includes essential components to remove emissions systems and enhance performance. Our popular ecodiesel EGR delete kit component is included for optimal results.
Core Components:
-
Iron Loader Tuner - Reprograms the factory ECM with the selected emissions-off calibration and revised engine settings.
-
DPF/CAT Delete Pipe - Stainless steel exhaust section that replaces the factory particulate filter and catalyst assembly. The pipe includes the required sensor bungs and connects to the existing exhaust path.
-
EGR Valve and Cooler Delete Kit - Removes the EGR valve and cooler circuit from operation. The ecodiesel EGR delete kit includes the application-specific block-off plate and installation hardware.
-
Installation Hardware - Matching clamps and gaskets are supplied for the included exhaust and EGR components.
Selectable Tune Options:
-
Economy - Retains factory-level horsepower with an emissions-off calibration focused on fuel economy.
-
EcoPower - Adds approximately 35 HP for a balance of response and everyday drivability.
-
Race - Adds approximately 50 HP with a more performance-oriented calibration.
-
Tow - Adds approximately 50 HP with settings intended for response under load.
-
Max - Adds up to 75 HP for the highest output available for a stock engine and turbo configuration.
-
Custom - Built around confirmed aftermarket engine or turbo modifications.

How the delete kit works on your 3.0L EcoDiesel
-
Reprograms the ECM with the selected Iron Loader tune.
-
Replaces the restrictive DPF and catalyst exhaust section.
-
Stops regeneration cycles and ongoing DEF-fluid dosing.
-
Blocks exhaust recirculation through the EGR cooler circuit.
-
Adjusts engine response for the selected power mode.
The Ram 3.0 EcoDiesel package combines the calibration and physical hardware changes required to operate without the removed DPF, DEF/SCR, and EGR components.
Installation information
Follow the installation sequence below to avoid tuning errors and ensure all components are installed correctly:
-
Install the Iron Loader calibration first. Do not remove any emissions hardware before the tuning process is completed.
-
Clear all active diagnostic codes before programming the vehicle.
-
Connect the tuner through the diagnostic port and load the selected tune file.
-
Replace the factory DPF and catalyst section with the stainless steel Delete Pipe after successful programming.
-
Install the EGR block-off components according to the supplied hardware configuration.
-
Reconnect all required sensors and refill any coolant lost during EGR cooler removal.
-
Inspect all connections before starting the engine and verify that the installation is complete.
