LMM Duramax full delete kit with H&S Mini Maxx V1/V2 (2007-2010)
The 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 6.6L LMM Duramax Delete Kit with Mini Maxx V1/V2 combines engine tuning, DPF/catalyst removal, EGR removal, and a 4-inch exhaust system in one off-road package. The kit reduces exhaust restriction, stops DPF regeneration, and provides selectable power gains for GM/Chevy Duramax pickups.
What's included in LMM Duramax delete kit
-
H&S Mini Maxx V1 or Mini Maxx V2 Tuner - The LMM tuner provides engine calibration, selectable power levels, live monitoring, diagnostics, and control of emissions-related functions. V1 and V2 use different power-level configurations.
-
4-Inch Downpipe-Back Exhaust System - The 4-inch exhaust replaces the restrictive DPF and catalyst section while connecting to the factory downpipe. The exhaust is available in aluminized steel or T-409 stainless steel, with clamps, hangers, and fasteners supplied.
-
EGR Valve and Cooler Delete Kit - The LMM EGR delete kit removes the EGR valve and cooler hardware to stop exhaust-gas recirculation, reducing soot buildup, intake clogging, and heat transferred through the EGR system.
-
Muffler Configuration - Choose a Straight Pipe setup for a louder exhaust note or With Muffler for reduced sound and drone.
The product uses a complete 4-inch exhaust rather than a standalone delete pipe. A 5-inch exhaust is not part of this specific bundle.

Expected changes
|
Metric |
Expected Change |
What It Means |
|---|---|---|
|
DPF regeneration |
Eliminated |
No active or forced regeneration after correct calibration |
|
Exhaust backpressure |
Reduced |
DPF and particulate restriction are removed |
|
EGTs |
Reduced under load |
Less exhaust restriction helps evacuate heat more efficiently |
|
Throttle response |
Improved |
Faster response to accelerator input |
|
Fuel economy |
Approximately 5-10% potential improvementΒ |
Reduced exhaust restriction and elimination of DPF regeneration may improve MPG; actual results depend on tune, load, driving style, tires, maintenance, and overall truck conditionΒ |
|
Intake soot |
Reduced |
EGR recirculation no longer sends soot back into the intake |

How the delete kit works on your GMC Duramax
-
Loads the correct Mini Maxx tune for the modified emissions configuration.
-
Removes DPF and catalyst restriction to stop regeneration and reduce backpressure.
-
Eliminates EGR recirculation to reduce soot and intake clogging.
-
Improves exhaust flow through the 4-inch downpipe-back system.
-
Reduces EGTs and improves response under load.
The LMM DPF delete requires the correct tuner calibration before the truck is operated with the factory DPF and EGR hardware removed.
Installation information
The LMM delete kit includes installation guidance, and the bolt-on hardware can be installed by an owner with solid mechanical experience. A complete install includes tuner setup, exhaust replacement, and EGR valve/cooler work.

No More Emissions Codes
Correct Mini Maxx calibration prevents diagnostic warnings caused specifically by the removed DPF, catalyst, and EGR hardware. Normal diagnostics remain active for unrelated engine, Allison transmission, fuel, turbocharger, wiring, and sensor faults.

Correct emissions calibration prevents removed aftertreatment hardware from causing DPF-related warning lights or limp mode conditions. The LMM platform does not require DEF-related codes to be disabled because the 2007.5-2010 LMM does not use a urea DEF/SCR system.
