Ram 1500 EcoDiesel full delete kit with bench-flash tuning (2014-2019)
The 2014-2019 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel 3.0L Delete Kit with Bench-Flash Tuning combines the exhaust hardware, EGR components, and ECM calibration required for a complete off-road setup.
Unlike plug-in tuner packages, this configuration uses direct ECM bench programming: the factory ECM is sent in for flashing and returned with the selected Economy, Stock Plus, or Race calibration, matched to the included DPF/SCR Delete Pipe and EGR Delete Kit.
What's included in Ram EcoDiesel delete kit
-
Bench-Flash Tuning Service - The factory ECM is removed from the truck and shipped for direct programming. The returned module contains the selected Economy, Stock Plus, or Race calibration.
-
DPF/SCR Delete Pipe - The bolt-on stainless steel exhaust section replaces the factory particulate filter and SCR catalyst assembly. Application-specific sensor bungs provide the required mounting locations.
-
EGR Valve and Cooler Delete Kit - The Ecodiesel EGR delete kit removes the EGR valve and cooler circuit after the flashed ECM has been reinstalled.
-
EGR Block-Off Hardware - The block-off plate seals the secondary EGR connection after the factory recirculation path is removed.
-
Exhaust Installation Hardware - Matching clamps and gaskets secure the Delete Pipe to the existing exhaust connections.
-
ECM Shipping Service - A prepaid label is provided for shipping the ECM to the bench-flash facility and returning the programmed module.
Selectable Tune Levels
-
Economy - Retains factory-level horsepower with an emissions-off calibration.
-
Stock Plus - Adds approximately 30 HP for balanced everyday response.
-
Race - Adds approximately 50 HP for stronger off-road performance.

Expected Change |
Practical Effect |
|---|---|---|
|
DPF regeneration |
Regeneration cycles discontinued |
The removed particulate filter no longer accumulates soot |
|
DEF consumption |
DEF refills eliminated |
The deleted SCR system no longer requires diesel exhaust fluid |
|
Exhaust restriction |
Reduced through the replaced DPF/SCR section |
Creates a more direct exhaust path |
|
EGR recirculation |
Exhaust gas no longer passes through the deleted EGR circuit |
Reduces soot entering the intake through recirculation |
|
Horsepower |
0, approximately +30, or approximately +50 HP |
Depends on the selected calibration |
|
Throttle response |
Quicker response with Stock Plus and Race |
Results depend on truck condition and tune selection |
|
Towing response |
Stock Plus can provide stronger response under load |
The calibration does not increase rated towing capacity |
|
Fuel economy |
Varies by calibration, load, tires, and driving style |
No single MPG gain applies to every truck |
|
EGTs |
Depend on load, tune, and vehicle condition |

How the delete kit works on your Ram 3.0L EcoDiesel
-
Reprograms the factory ECM through a direct bench flash.
-
Replaces the restrictive DPF and SCR catalyst section.
-
Stops regeneration cycles and DEF-fluid dosing commands.
-
Blocks exhaust recirculation through the EGR cooler circuit.
-
Adjusts power delivery through the selected calibration.
The bench-flash service replaces the function of a handheld ecodiesel tuner. The programmed ECM manages the engine after the DPF, DEF/SCR, and EGR hardware has been removed.
Installation information
Installation instructions are provided with the kit. With basic mechanical skills, installation can be completed independently.
