The S&B intake system is the best intake system available on the market. We have tested, sold and installed almost every cold air intake system available. After extensive research, we decided to sell only S&B. S&B offers two types of filters. Oil-based cleanable or dry disposable. Since you don't sacrifice performance with either option, the decision comes down to whether you prefer to clean the filter or throw it away. We prefer an oil-based cleanable filter. S&B doesn't advertise power figures, but from our experience on the Dinoscoop, we've seen a 20 horsepower and 30 lb-ft of torque gain. Increased airflow over stock leads to 1-2 mph more mileage, better handling, faster turbine response, and higher boost pressure. Lower EGT (exhaust gas temperature) is expected when towing.
