Don't buy this tuner option kit!!

The mini max v2 tuner does not work with ALL 6.7L diesels. I have a 2020 Ram with the 6.7L and it is case specific if the mini max tuner will work or not. Since H&S has been out of buisness for 10 years or better,there are no experts out there anymore on those tuners. I took my truck to a tuner who is very familiar with Mini Max, and even with the bypass cable and gateway module,the H&S mini max V2 tuner will not properly communicate with my 2020 ram, to build a proper custom tune. As I said , it is only verifiable by checking your vin number to see if it will work with your truck or not. If you have a 2020 or 2021 Ram 6.7L, just avoid the mini max tuner altogether.
Im more than a bit disappointed with Dieselino. They didnt ask for my vin number to verify anything until AFTER I contacted them letting them know it wouldnt work. And was even more disappointed when I was told that they wouldnt at least give me credit for selling me the wrong tuner , so that I could order one that would actually work on my truck. The mini max tuners can be completely wiped and used on whatever truck you want to put it on. So they can be restocked or resold despite whatever anyone wants to say. The mini max v2, cannot communicate with the pcm or ecu to the point that you can build a custom tune. Limited turbo communication and levels, the defuel rates are very skewed , and you will keep getting codes even with the suggested tune that comes on the tuner when you buy it. Im going to go with the ez link or edge tuner for my truck. But it probably wont be from Dieselino,since they were unwilling to help me out after selling me a delete kit that the tuner wouldnt work for my truck. Only after l reached out to them to request a new tuner , and to return my mini max, did they ask me for my vin number. Thats a bit too late ,since they wont do anything to help me out as far as a refund or return of the tuner.
Really cant express enough to do your own background work and investigation of the parts you buy from Dieselino. Because they wont ask you any questions to verify you are ordering the correct parts. Its been a known issue with any 2020 and 2021 Ram owners, that the H&S Mini Max V2 tuner doesn't work with those year model trucks.
