Description

Ram 6.7 Cummins delete kit with EFI Live AutoCal V3 (2010-2021)

The Ram 6.7 Cummins Delete Kit with EFI Live AutoCal V3 tuner removes the factory DPF, EGR valve, EGR cooler, and applicable DEF/SCR components from supported 2010-2021 Ram pickups. The complete package combines model-year-specific exhaust hardware with custom ECM tuning to stop forced regen cycles, reduce exhaust restriction, and provide calibrated power for daily driving or towing.

What's included in 6.7 Cummins delete kit

  • EFI Live AutoCal V3 - The handheld programming device connects to the truck through the factory OBD2 port and installs a custom calibration created for the specific VIN and vehicle configuration. The device also stores supplied tune files and supports diagnostic scanning and calibration updates.

    • Vehicle-Specific Custom Tune File - The calibration is prepared from the truck’s VIN, model year, transmission type, tire size, engine modifications, turbocharger setup, and intended use. Supported applications may receive multiple power levels through SOTF or a single fixed tune, depending on model year and configuration.

    • SOTF Switch and Calibration - Trucks can switch between supported power settings without reflashing the ECM. The supplied switch controls the available Stock, +30 HP, +60 HP, +90 HP, +120 HP, and +150 HP settings when multi-level tuning is supported.

  • Complete EGR Valve and Cooler Removal Kit - The 6.7 Cummins EGR delete kit includes the block-off plates, fittings, hoses, gaskets, and supporting hardware required to remove the factory exhaust gas recirculation valve and cooler. Removing the recirculation hardware reduces soot entering the intake system.

  • DPF Delete Pipe or Complete Exhaust System - Buyers can select a direct-fit delete pipe, a 4-inch exhaust, or a 5-inch exhaust system. Each option replaces the factory diesel particulate filter and related restrictive exhaust section.

  • DEF/SCR Removal Support - The 2013–2021 configurations include tuning support for the applicable DEF and SCR system. The 2010–2012 Ram trucks did not use the same DEF/SCR layout and therefore receive model-year-specific hardware and programming.

  • Installation Hardware - The package includes clamps, fasteners, brackets, seals, and mounting components for the selected exhaust and EGR configuration.

  • Installation and Programming Instructions - Detailed instructions explain the hardware removal process, AutoCal connection, tune installation, SOTF setup where supported, and correct programming sequence.

Performance summary

Feature

Important note

Regen cycles

Eliminated

Correct hardware removal and tuning are required

Throttle response

Improved

Response depends on calibration and mechanical condition.

Fuel economy

May improve under favorable conditions

Load, speed, tires, gearing, and driving style affect MPG

Exhaust flow

Reduced restriction

Pipe diameter and muffler choice affect sound and flow

EGTs

May decrease under comparable load

Towing weight and driving conditions affect temperature

Towing response

More controlled power delivery may be available

Factory tow, payload, axle, GVWR, and GCWR limits remain unchanged

Reliability

Removes common aftertreatment failure points

Existing engine or transmission faults remain

SOTF switching

Supported

Switch between supported power levels without reflashing

Transmission behavior

Optional calibration may be available

Transmission type must be confirmed before ordering

The 6.7 Cummins delete kit with tuner changes engine operation after the factory emissions hardware is removed. Custom tuning does not increase the truck’s certified towing capacity or repair pre-existing fuel, turbocharger, transmission, or electrical problems.

Which configuration should you choose?

The selected exhaust, muffler, and tune options determine sound level, installation layout, and calibration flexibility.

Choices

Recommended for

Exhaust replacement

DPF delete pipe

Replaces the factory DPF section while retaining the factory rear exhaust system. This option is designed for customers who want to complete the delete without replacing the entire exhaust.

Exhaust diameter

4-inch exhaust

Daily driving, towing, and balanced sound

Exhaust diameter

5-inch exhaust

Deeper tone and larger exhaust appearance

Muffler

Straight pipe

Maximum sound and minimum restriction

Muffler

With muffler

Reduced cabin drone and quieter highway use

Compatibility must be confirmed

A stainless steel exhaust offers corrosion resistance and long service life. A 5-inch system can create a deeper tone, but a larger diameter alone does not guarantee more horsepower than a properly configured 4-inch system.

How the delete kit works on your Ram 6.7 Cummins

The package removes restrictive aftertreatment components and installs ECM programming written for the specific truck.

  1. Confirm the model year and transmission type.

  2. Remove the DPF and applicable DEF hardware.

  3. Install the selected exhaust and EGR components.

  4. Flash the custom file with AutoCal V3.

  5. Select supported power levels through SOTF.

The custom calibration stops factory monitoring of the removed particulate filter, EGR valve, cooler, and applicable DEF/SCR equipment. Correct tuning also prevents supported regen requests, dashboard warnings, emissions codes, and emissions-related reduced-power operation caused by missing components.

Installation information

The package includes detailed mechanical and programming instructions. A customer with solid mechanical experience and basic computer skills can install the EFI Live Autocal v3 package, although exhaust fasteners, EGR access, and model-year differences can increase installation time.

DIFFICULTY
4 / 5
EST. TIME

5-8 hours

TOOLS

Basic hand tools, torque wrench, penetrating oil, jack or lift, Windows laptop, stable internet, OBD2 access

RECOMMENDED: Battery charger or stable power supply during programming

Stable battery voltage should be maintained while the calibration is being written. An interrupted flash caused by low voltage can prevent the ECM from completing the programming sequence.

Frequently Asked Questions

No, the truck should not operate with the DPF, EGR, or applicable DEF equipment removed while the factory calibration remains installed. The stock ECM continues monitoring the missing components and can trigger regen requests, emissions codes, DEF warnings, speed limitations, or limp mode. Compatible custom tuning is required.

A transmission calibration may be available as an optional selection, but compatibility depends on the model year, transmission, and tune supplier. The 68RFE and Aisin use different control strategies. Buyers should provide the VIN and transmission type before ordering because an engine tune does not automatically include transmission programming.

No, a deleted 6.7 Cummins will generally fail an inspection that checks the presence or operation of factory emissions equipment. Removing or disabling the DPF, DEF/SCR, and EGR systems may be prohibited on public-road vehicles. The package for Ram 2500 and 3500 is intended only for off-road, racing, competition, or other legally permitted use.
