Installation: Like most of the other parts of the car, installation is easy and may take about an hour using simple hand tools. A car elevator can speed up the process. For shorter wheelbase models, some trimming might be necessary. You will reuse the factory clamp that attaches the lower tube to the turbine.

Fuel Mileage: By removing the DPF and CAT, be prepared for a sensational boost in your fuel mileage. Vehicles with a clogged DPF usually average around 13-14 miles per gallon. Post-installation, you can see a combined mileage of approximately 18-19 mpg, though larger tires and aggressive driving can reduce this.

Tuner Requirement: When you delete the DPF, SCR, CAT, and/or DOC eliminates emission related sensors. A tuner with DPF removal capability is recommended because the option will trigger diagnostic trouble codes and engine warning lights. We recommend the H&S Mini Maxx tuner for this purpose.
