LML Duramax full delete kit with Mini Maxx V2 tuner (2011-2015)
The 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 LML Duramax Delete Kit with Mini Maxx V2 Tuner removes the factory diesel particulate filter, DEF/SCR equipment, EGR valve, and EGR cooler from supported Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra HD pickups. The package also installs preloaded programming that stops regeneration cycles, disables supported emissions monitoring, and provides four selectable power settings.
What's included in LML delete kit
-
Mini Maxx V2 Tuner - The preloaded handheld device connects through the factory OBD2 port and requires no VIN submission, stock file, infolog, or separately prepared custom tune. The tuner provides Stock, Tow, Street, and Performance settings, live engine monitoring, diagnostic functions, and return-to-stock capability.
-
Preloaded Delete Calibration - The supplied software disables DPF, DEF, SCR, and EGR monitoring after the factory emissions components have been removed. The calibration also clears supported warning messages and prevents emissions-related limp mode when reduced-power operation is caused by missing aftertreatment hardware.
-
DPF Delete Pipe or Complete Exhaust System - Buyers can select a direct-fit delete pipe, a 4-inch system, or a 5-inch system. Each option replaces the restrictive particulate filter section and reduces exhaust backpressure.
-
Complete EGR Valve and Cooler Removal Package - The LML EGR delete kit includes block-off plates, fittings, gaskets, hoses, and mounting hardware required to remove the factory exhaust gas recirculation valve and cooler.
-
Installation Hardware - The package includes clamps, fasteners, seals, brackets, and supporting components for the selected exhaust and EGR configuration.
-
Installation and Programming Instructions - Detailed instructions explain the mechanical removal process, tuner connection, calibration installation, power-level selection, and return-to-stock procedure.
The supplied programmer uses preloaded files rather than individually prepared custom tunes. No separate tune-file submission is required before installation.
Vehicle compatibility
-
Years: 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015
-
Makes: Chevrolet, GMC
-
Models: Silverado 2500HD / 3500HD, Sierra 2500HD / 3500HD
-
Engine: 6.6L LML Duramax Turbo Diesel
-
Body style: Pickup
The Duramax delete kit is intended for pickup applications. Cab & Chassis trucks, dual-fuel-tank configurations, and unsupported LGH applications require separate compatibility confirmation before ordering.
Note: This bundle comes in handy if you are using a model that has a V-Band flange. If you have a three-bolt flange and your truck was made in late 2015 or 2016, see the compatible bundle here.
Performance & tuning
The LML tuner provides four preloaded settings for stock-like driving, towing, daily street use, or maximum available performance.
-
No forced regens
-
Improved throttle response
-
Stronger towing response
-
Potential fuel economy gains
-
Reduced exhaust restriction
-
Fewer aftertreatment failures

Actual torque depends on the selected calibration, transmission condition, tire size, fuel quality, elevation, turbocharger setup, and overall vehicle condition.
The Mini Maxx V2 does not provide true SOTF switching. The driver selects the desired setting through the tuner menu, and the selected file is programmed into the truck before use.

Choices |
Recommended for |
|---|---|---|
|
Exhaust replacement |
DPF delete pipe |
Keeping the factory rear exhaust section |
|
Exhaust diameter |
4-inch exhaust |
Daily driving, work use, and regular towing |
|
Exhaust diameter |
5-inch exhaust |
Deeper sound and larger exhaust appearance |
|

Straight pipe |
Maximum exhaust volume |
|
Muffler |
With muffler |
Reduced cabin drone and quieter highway driving |
A stainless steel system provides corrosion resistance and long service life. A 5-inch exhaust can produce a deeper tone, but the larger diameter does not automatically create more horsepower than a properly configured 4-inch system.
How the delete kit works on your LML Duramax
The LML DPF delete process removes restrictive aftertreatment hardware and installs compatible programming for the modified truck.
-
Remove the factory DPF and DEF components.
-
Install the selected delete pipe or exhaust.
-
Remove the EGR valve and cooler assembly.
-
Connect the programmer through the OBD2 port.
-
Flash the calibration and select a power level.
Installation information
The package includes detailed instructions for the mechanical installation and programming sequence. A customer with solid mechanical experience can install the 6.6L Duramax hardware independently, although seized exhaust fasteners and limited engine-bay access can increase the required time.
RECOMMENDED: Battery charger or stable power supply during programming
Stable battery voltage must be maintained during the flash process. An interrupted write caused by low voltage can prevent the ECM from completing the programming procedure.

No More Emissions Codes
Correct installation and programming disable supported dashboard warnings and diagnostic trouble codes associated with the removed DPF, DEF/SCR, and EGR systems. The calibration does not repair unrelated fuel-system, turbocharger, transmission, wiring, or mechanical faults.
